Student Trainee (Administration)

  • Collect data from reference sources in office and incorporates it into typed/computer generated material. Proofread all material, corrects grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors. Call questionable items to the originator's attention for resolution. Verify and arranges information in accordance with the general nature of the material and purpose of presentation.
  • Provide information and assistance on procedural requirements and formats for filing various data and material. Compare basic information to established requirements to identify and correct errors and omissions in files and documents; searching, compiling and arranging data in a usable format, identifying facts, considering relevance to the assignment.
  • Use several types of office automation tools, such as word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, and database management skills to compile and manipulate information into various formats. Apply knowledge of various software functions to generate reports used by senior staff.
  • Assemble materials for staff associated with briefings, conferences, and meetings. Also assemble other material for briefings and meetings which may include overhead projectors, video equipment, computers, etc. as needed.
